Grant details

What is the repair network signage grant?

We’re offering a grant of up to $1,000 for Collision and Glass Repair Program participant locations towards the removal and/or update of signage to ensure all ICBC logos in use are the current version.

Where work is completed in-house, the maximum amount available is $250.

We’re also offering a complimentary window decal featuring the current ICBC Repair Network logo.

My repair facility participates in both the Collision and Glass Repair Programs. Am I eligible for more than one grant?

Locations participating in both the Collision and Glass Repair Programs in one repair facility are eligible for a single grant for that location.

What if I have more than one location – am I eligible for more than one grant?

Yes. Each participant location is eligible for a grant.

I replaced my sign before this grant was announced. Can I still apply?

Yes. Please complete the grant application from and submit it to [email protected]

What is the deadline?

The deadline to apply for the grant is February 28, 2025.

The deadline to replace/remove outdated logos is April 1, 2026.

What's the criteria for receiving the grant?

Eligibility for the grant is subject to agreement with the Terms and Conditions.

How do I apply for the grant?

  • Invoices and photographs for completed work (either removal or replacement of outdated signage)

Signage and logos

Do I have to use the ICBC Repair Shop logo?

No. Using the ICBC Repair Network logo remains completely voluntary. If you decide to display any ICBC logo, it must be the current version as set out in the Program Guides and the ICBC Logo usage standards for ICBC Repair Network.

What if I don’t want to replace signage?

All outdated ICBC logos must be removed by April 1, 2026. This includes building exteriors and any vehicle fleets. It’s important for customers to recognize where they can access ICBC accredited facilities. Using multiple versions of outdated logos adds to confusion.

Do I need to get approval for any new signage?

Yes. Any use of ICBC logos must be approved before production and installation.

This will help ensure compliance of logo usage before incurring expenses for producing a new sign. Incorrect or unauthorized use of ICBC’s logos negatively impacts the value of the ICBC Repair Network brand, our reputation, and our mutual customers' trust.

Do I need to get approval if I’m moving a sign or duplicating an already approved sign?

Yes. Signage approval is based on the design and placement as indicated in the request by your facility. You need to get approval every time you plan on duplicating or moving a sign to another retail location, even if you move it to another position within your location.

Will ICBC be checking repair facilities to see if they are complying by ICBC’s logo guidelines?

Yes. ICBC will be more rigorous in monitoring the use of its logos and will proactively manage situations of non-compliance to protect the integrity of our corporate brand and that of the Repair Network. Our MD Account Services and Supplier Programs and Administration teams will assist with monitoring for logo usage compliance by photographing signs displaying ICBC’s logos when they conduct their facility visits.

What happens if a repair facility does not comply with removing all outdated ICBC logos by April 1, 2026?

Repair facilities that use ICBC logos which do not comply with the ICBC logo usage standards for Repair Network, will not be permitted to participate in the Collision or Glass Repair Programs.

How do I know how to use the ICBC Repair Network logo properly?

Program participants can refer to section 10 of the applicable Program Guide and the ICBC Logo usage standards for ICBC Repair Network. (Note: For Glass Repair Program participants, updates to section 10 will be made in Fall 2024.)

The ICBC Repair Network logo may be used for your promotional materials, such as facility signage, print and online applications, website, stationery, merchandise, apparel and on vehicle fleets.

Who should I contact at ICBC if I have questions regarding the appropriate use of logos?
