Physiotherapists
Do you provide physiotherapy to ICBC customers injured in a car crash? Here are a few things you need to know.
ICBC Recovery Network
The ICBC Recovery Network is launching on March 22, 2025. Physiotherapists in the network agree to the Health Care Services Terms and the Physiotherapy program guide. For more details, please see your program guide.
No new direct billing approvals as of January 1, 2025
Starting January 1, 2025, no new direct billing approvals will be provided to initiate a physiotherapist-administered active rehabilitation program (i.e. kinesiology treatments administered by a physiotherapist). Active rehabilitation programs may be provided by a physiotherapist and billed within a standard physiotherapy session or by a kinesiologist and billed as a standard kinesiology session. Contact [email protected] or [email protected] with questions.
Invoicing and reporting
Physiotherapists approved to treat ICBC customers may use the Health Care Provider Invoicing and Reporting (HCPIR) application or the Health Care Provider Portal (HCPP) to submit invoices and reports directly to ICBC.

Physiotherapy Progress Report (CL489F) (only complete upon request)
Physiotherapy Non Standard Treatment Application Form (CL752)
Treatment guidelines
Physiotherapists are expected to assess patients and determine their treatment plans in accordance with College practice standards.
Clinical records
ICBC may request physiotherapists to provide clinical records. Written patient consent is required.
