Brain injury support and navigation pilot
Brain Injury Pilot end date
The Brain Injury Pilot runs until Sept 25, 2026. Funding for support and navigation services through the pilot is only available to ICBC customers involved in a crash on or after May 1, 2021, who present with an acquired brain injury.
For crashes on or after May 1, 2021
The Brain injury support and navigation pilot aims to enhance access to existing community support and navigation services for ICBC customers who suffered a brain injury because of their crash, and to provide navigation services for customers with pre-existing brain injuries who could benefit from extra supports managing their Enhanced Care claim.
ICBC has partnered with BrainTrust Canada, South Okanagan Similkameen Brain Injury Society and the BC Brain Injury Association to develop the pilot.
